One idea, three products.

PRIME GUARD LACCO+ exists because of a pattern anyone who has renovated a building in a monsoon climate already knows: the damage almost never starts where you can see it. It starts at the junction.

Why junctions fail

The wall is fine. The joint is not.

A door frame, a window frame, a plinth belt, a truss bearing. Each of these is a place where two different materials are pressed together and then buried under plaster. One of them nearly always holds water: concrete wicks it, timber absorbs it, and steel corrodes in it.

The buried face never dries out. It has no airflow, no sunlight, and no coat of paint, because nobody paints the side that will not be seen. That is where dampness crosses into the masonry, where termites find timber that is permanently soft, and where rust begins to expand and crack the render around it.

PRIME GUARD LACCO+ treats that face. Three coatings, one for each substrate, each forming a continuous barrier at the point of contact, so the junction stops being the weakest part of the build.

The treated contact face: the part of the detail nobody sees once the plaster is on.

Protect · Preserve · Perform

What the promise actually means

Protect

Put a physical barrier between the water and the material. Not a sealer that slows moisture down, but a film that stops it crossing the joint at all.

Preserve

Keep the substrate as it was built: concrete sound, timber stable and breathing, steel free of corrosion. Protection that changes the material has not preserved anything.

Perform

Work the way a site works. Direct apply, no primer, recoat in 2–3 hours, hard dry in 5–8, so the barrier never becomes the reason a schedule slips.

Where it is used

Every junction, every build type

New construction

Specified at the frame and belt stage, before plaster. The cheapest moment to protect a junction is the only moment it is fully accessible.

  • Plinth belts
  • Door frames
  • Window frames
  • Truss bearings

Renovation

When a frame comes out or a damp wall is opened up, the exposed contact face can be treated before anything is put back.

  • Damp walls
  • Frame replacement
  • Re-plastering
  • Rusted steel

Joinery & fabrication

Coated in the workshop on trestles, where all faces of a frame are reachable, including the ones that will be buried.

  • Frame runs
  • Plywood
  • Fabricated steel
  • Partitions
